Just when I thought that I knew where my life was going, God showed me that HE was in control.. not me. WOW, did he have a different plan for me! We found out a few weeks back that we are expecting our 5th child (yes, I said 5th) around April 4. 2009! For those of you who do not know, Brian had a vasectomy last year. He was even a good boy and went back for his testing and was 'cleared'. It gets even better... when he went back again last week for another test, he was positive (duh!). The doctor told him that of the thousands of surgeries that he had already done, Brian's was only the third one that had had a problem. What luck! We are still a bit in shock, but are excited, too. The kids are thrilled with the idea and can't wait! I need a little more time to figure out how we are going to do this all... I know, with God's help! I had read somewhere awhile back 'God won't give me more than I can handle, I just wish he didn't trust me so much'. I am totally feeling that way right now! We had already gotten rid of all of our baby things, so if you are looking to get rid of any of yours, or would be willing to let me borrow anything, I would GREATLY appreciate it! We are starting over from square one!

All I can say is WOW!! Contratulations Julie!! I am in total shock!! I'm glad you seem to be doin okay, and have such a good attitude. You are right, God has a plan!!! I'll go through my stuff and send it over. I did borrow alot though, so I don't have a ton! Talk to you soon.
Oh my goodness girl!!!! I thought things like this were supposed to happen to Tonya:) haha!! I think it is awesome and definitely God's plan. Just goes to show we are definitely not in control!! Congrats!!
We've talked about this so much 'offline', but I do need to say publicly that i'm serious about having a baby shower for you :) ANYONE who has a FIFTH child AFTER a VASECTOMY deserves special treatment! :) God has great things in mind for this little baby - can't wait to meet him/her! :)

Julie? As in use to be Julie Vanderkamp? :) Amazing how this blogging world works and you somehow get connected after many years! Not sure how I found your blog, but I did. Congratulations on #5! There truly is no greater blessing than children. Evan & I just had #4 on July 9th (well, #5 -- we have one baby in heaven)and are so blessed with our family.
