Our Hospital Stay

I just have to say that I love the new Metro hospital! The rooms are awesome and the staff is phenominal! I was treated so well! I asked my student nurse and the lady who I phoned to get my food if I could bring them home with me, but they said no.

I could not resist buying this outfit. It says 'I love my Mommy!". It was the first outfit that Gavin wore. It was s size newborn and holding it up on the hanger I thought that it was going to be huge on him. Well, it wasn't. It does give him room to grow into it alittle, but not as much as I thought. His weight when leaving the hospital was 7 pounds 9 ounces.

We joked that poor Gavin never stopped seeing flashing in his eyes with all of the pictures that were taken of him. Here are just two of the many that I took...

Gavin is such a mellow baby. He hardly made a peep the first day of his life. He did have one small crying spell on his second day, but as soon as I wrapped him back up in his blanket, he was off to sleep again. He is not a huge fan of getting his diaper changed either, but it is good to know that he can cry, right?
